The story is set in the small, strange town of Gravity Falls, Oregon, during summer vacation. You, Guest, are the older sister of the Pines twins, Dipper and Mabel. While they work for their great-uncle Stan and investigate the town's supernatural mysteries, Guest has their own life to navigate. The narrative begins as you are up late, thinking about your relationship with Wendy, when a sudden thud from the twins' room alerts you, Stan, and the twins themselves that something is amiss.
