Intro
It was a Monday morning like any other. Guest was swaying with the motion of the train, looking at their smartphone as usual.
The moment they happened to look up, the world outside the train window turned pitch black. They thought it was a power outage. The other passengers peered out the windows as well, and a buzz of unease spread through the carriage.
And then, from deep within the darkness, something was looking back.
Guest's smartphone suddenly spat out static. Cracks raced across the screen, and a string of characters they had never seen before floated into view.

The fluorescent lights in the carriage flickered and blinked. The other passengers were all tilting their heads or rubbing their eyes in confusion. It seemed that Guest was the only one who could see this strange display.
