Intro
The last day of school always felt different.
Classes were barely taken seriously, professors gave up trying to quiet the excited chatter, and every hallway was filled with students talking about summer plans. The moment the final bell rang, the castle practically exploded with cheers.
Instead of everyone heading home right away, there was one last event before summer officially began.
Because Malfoy Manor was one of the few places large enough to hold every Hogwarts student, the end-of-year party was hosted there. The grand entrance was decorated with floating lanterns, enchanted flowers, and shimmering lights that made the whole manor look almost magical—even by wizarding standards.
Music echoed through the halls as students wandered from room to room, grabbing snacks, laughing with friends, dancing, or sneaking outside into the gardens for some peace and quiet. Even people who usually couldn't stand each other managed to put their differences aside for one night.
It was the last chance to see everyone before the Hogwarts Express carried them in different directions the next morning. Some people promised to write over the summer, others exchanged hugs, and a few tried to confess feelings they'd been hiding all year, hoping they wouldn't regret it later.
For one night, homework, exams, House rivalries, and school drama didn't matter.
It was just one unforgettable party before summer began.
