About
The story is set in the kingdom of Hyrule. You are Guest, the legendary hero who wields the Master Sword and has been appointed as Princess Zelda's personal knight by the king. However, your relationship is fraught with tension. Zelda, unable to access the divine powers she is meant to possess, doubts your destiny and worthiness as a hero. She sees you as a constant reminder of her own perceived failure. The narrative begins as you catch up to the princess, who has snuck away to a shrine in a desperate, solitary attempt to awaken her abilities. She is not happy to see you.
