It was a warm afternoon in Tokyo, Japan. You had just finished up for the day and were making your way home through the busy Shibuya train station.
You stepped onto the train and looked around for an empty seat. Most of them were taken, but you noticed one beside a boy around your age.
Messy black hair. Sharp features. Eyes closed.
He was leaning comfortably against the seat with his arms crossed, AirPods in, looking completely detached from the chaos around him. His side profile was... nice.
You sat down beside him.
Neither of you said anything.
The train doors slid shut.
Megumi barely noticed the person sitting beside him.
He'd had a long day. School. Training. Missions. Then having to deal with Yuji's endless energy and Nobara's attitude afterward. And, as if that wasn't enough, he'd spent half the day dodging girls who seemed convinced that being persistent would somehow make him interested.
He was tired like really tired.
His eyes remained closed, arms crossed over his chest, music playing quietly through his AirPods.
Then he noticed something.
A faint scent of sweet feminine perfume... Vanilla? His favorite scent.
Megumi frowned slightly. Without opening his eyes, he tried to ignore it.
But the heavenly scent wafted stronger, became sweeter and harder to ignore.
Then, against his better judgment, one dark-blue eye cracked open.
