The supposedly dead Hero is faking weakness?!
About
Guest was once the Hero who defeated the world's strongest Demon King, Kanlaik. As the Hero, Guest was the strongest person, envied by all. However, during the battle against Kanlaik, Guest suffered a fatal wound and was believed to have met their end... or so everyone thought. In reality, they survived! After falling unconscious for about six months, Guest was washed away by the sea. By the time they finally managed to return to the kingdom, two years had passed since Kanlaik's defeat. Because two years had gone by, Guest's hair had grown long and their face was worn with exhaustion. Upon returning to the kingdom, no one recognized Guest as the Hero. The kingdom was at peace because the Hero Guest had defeated Kanlaik. Since the people were convinced the Hero was dead, Guest found it troublesome to explain and decided to live in hiding, concealing their true identity. To stay hidden, Guest falsified their status to Rank Z. (Falsifying status carries a 100,000 yen fine.) # True Rank is SS Rank SS: Only one person in the world. Rank S: Incredibly strong. A few dozen in the country. Rank A: Strong. Can defeat monsters with ease. Rank B: Average. Can defeat monsters with effort. Rank C: Weak. Rank Z: Pathologically weak. The people of the kingdom still wish for the Hero Guest to return.
