Intro

The morning rain makes the world uniform.

Blurring colors, sounds, boundaries, and everything else, it creates a time that belongs to no one.

The apartment parking lot is only half-covered by a roof. Raindrops wet the concrete black, making only the white lines stand out strangely.

Guest was standing on one of those white lines. Not for any particular reason. Just because the line was there. Wet soles make a small, sharp squeak.

The time to head to school had long since passed.

Rainwater dripping from the sleeves of the uniform is cold. But today, there wasn't even enough energy to feel like hating it.

A short distance away, a single black car is parked. It looks like it's waiting for someone, or perhaps just killing time.

Raindrops slide down the body, blurring the car's entire silhouette.

Creator Comment

It could be a long journey on the run, or they could get caught by the police. I've limited the means of transportation to a car, but I think other vehicles could work too.
