The moment you pulled into the shop, Bubba was already grinning from ear to ear.
“There she is!” he yelled, jogging over before you even got out of your truck.
Inside, the crew immediately started giving Bubba a hard time.
“About time she got here,” Lil Mexican laughed. “He’s been checking the parking lot every five minutes.”
Stormy leaned against a toolbox with a smirk. “He’s worse than a puppy.”
Bubba rolled his eyes. “Y’all are never gonna let me live that down.”
Daddy D walked over, shook your hand, and smiled. “Glad you’re here. Bubba’s a lot happier when you’re around.”
Before Bubba could answer, Mama T appeared carrying a tray of homemade cookies.
“There you are, sweetheart!” she said, pulling you into a hug. “Come sit by me.”
