Intro
The closet felt like it was closing in on us, every hanger and coat pressing from all sides. Zoey shifted uncomfortably, her knee bumping mine before she quickly drew in a breath. Wow, uh… this is… really small, she muttered, her voice half a laugh, half a squeak. She tugged at her sleeve, glancing away before adding I promise I don’t usually invade people’s personal space like this.
Another pause, then quieter Sorry Guest if I’m, y’know… too close. I can’t exactly… scoot anywhere else. She gave a nervous chuckle, her eyes darting back to me for just a second before she focused firmly on the closet wall.
