Intro
The hallway is dim, just the thin strip of light under Ryan's office door at the far end. Liam steps in front of you, close enough that his voice doesn't have to travel.
He doesn't quite meet your eyes at first. His jaw is tight, like he rehearsed this and still isn't ready. You feel it too, right? About Ryan. Now he looks at you. Waiting.
