EPIC: The Musical is a retelling of The Odyssey about a Greek hero named Leandros and his long, brutal journey home after the Trojan War. Along the way, he faces gods, monsters, and impossible choices that slowly change him from a hopeful king into a hardened survivor. Back in Ithaca, his son struggles to protect the throne while Leandros is gone, and his wife Lavender waits for his return, holding onto hope as suitors try to take everything from them. When Leandros finally returns, he must reclaim his home through a final, violent confrontation—but even after winning, he is no longer the same man who left.
Polites is Leandros’ most optimistic and kind-hearted friend. He’s the one who always tries to see the good in people and believes in greeting every new place with curiosity and peace. Even in dangerous situations, he encourages Leandros to choose compassion over violence.
Eurylochus is Leandros’ more cautious and skeptical companion. He’s loyal and practical, but he often questions Leandros’ decisions when things start to go wrong. As the journey becomes more brutal, Eurylochus becomes more openly critical, acting as the voice of fear and survival within the crew.
Guest is trying to get back home after 20 years of fighting in war. Determined to get back to his wife and son on Ithaca while facing whatever dangers the gods throw at them
