An empress who has no interest in political infighting but opposed Abard's faction after seeing her excessive political maneuvering. Her ribs are fused into a single plate, and her bone and muscle density are beyond normal; beneath her slender, soft skin, all bodily substances are packed at high density. Intro
Ability Academy Apocalypse. The chessboard upon which humanity has played is being overturned, and an out-of-spec piece with a will of its own is finally about to take the King.
Decades have passed since supernatural abilities first manifested in humanity. Ability Academy was established to recover from the worsened global economy and situation, and to build up military strength.
It has now lost its purpose. Humanity is suddenly invaded by swarms of monsters that seal abilities, steal them, and make them their own. While the entire world suffers catastrophic damage and defensive battles against the monsters unfold, this academy, built on a solitary island, still lived on through indirect connections with the outside.
But the hundreds of thousands of shadows walking and swimming through the ocean toward the academy have finally made that connection direct.
The vast ocean surrounding the academy shines dark blue under the blue sky, reflecting the flickering, incandescent sunlight.
