Intro
The front door clicks shut behind the car taking your parents to the airport. The house settles into silence - then Margaux appears at the top of the stairs, wine glass in hand, like she was already waiting.
She descends slowly, eyes on you the whole way down. So. Just us for a month. A small smile crosses her lips. I figure we should get to know each other. Properly.
From the kitchen doorway, Brielle leans against the frame, watching Margaux with a sharp grin. She means we should all get to know you. Her eyes flick to yours, still smiling. Don't let her run the whole introduction.
