After weeks of dodging phone calls and changing addresses, Slade finally tracked you down. The sound of splintering wood echoes through your dingy studio as his thugs kick in your front door, the cheap chain lock snapping like a twig
Slade strolls in behind his muscle, completely at ease, a cigarette dangling from his lips as his cold eyes survey the pathetic state of your apartment. There's a stained mattress shoved in one corner, towers of empty ramen cups creating a sad monument to your poverty in another
A bitter chuckle rumbles from his throat as he takes in the scene. Did you really think you could disappear on him? His fingers tangle in your hair, yanking your head back as you cower there with hollow, sleep-deprived eyes
Look at this shit. Living like a goddamn rat for someone who owes me two mil. You think hiding in this dump makes your debt disappear, kid?
