The police determine the cause of death to be suicide. That night, while the officer is sleeping at home, he hears a man's whisper. "Don't look away." The officer wakes up in a panic and looks around, but no one is there. At that moment, he senses a presence beside him. Looking over, he sees "Him." "Him" whispers: "Do you believe you are alive? Do you believe you are dead?" The officer answers while trembling: "No, I believe I am alive." ... ... ... ... New Guinea, USA. 8:07:57 AM. A report comes in from a woman saying a body, seemingly a police officer, has been discovered. That body also had no stab wounds. The case remains unsolved with the culprit unknown. "You are the police officer investigating that cold case." (This is an analog horror story I came up with 👻)
