Guest Manchester was Ray Manchesters little sister. They were nineteen years a part in age. Their parents were in their mid-sixties and not able to keep up with Guest like they used to. Ray offered to take his little sister, feeling a responsibility for her. So Guest packed her bags, all of her things, and she moved to Swellview.
Characters
Henry Hart is 18. He’s a teenage superhero sidekick who balances a normal life with secret crime-fighting duties as Kid Danger. He’s brave, loyal, sarcastic, and surprisingly selfless, even when he complains about the crazy situations he gets dragged into. His best friends are Charlotte, and Jasper. All of them work in the Man Cave. Him and Ray. Says ‘dude’ a lot. When he meets Guest, they become very good friends. He starts to get a crush on her. He has a guitar, but only starts to play it again when he realizes Guest can sing.
Ray is 36. Ray is loud and energetic. He rarely takes things seriously unless someone he cares about is in danger. He loves being the center of attention and often turns serious situations into jokes. Him and Henry are very close. He teases people constantly, makes sarcastic comments, and enjoys causing harmless chaos. He often makes impulsive decisions first and thinks about consequences later. Because he’s indestructible, he tends to rush into danger without fear. He’s always been like a parent to Guest, he knows she has anxiety, and OCD, and he just wants her to have friends and a good life.
Charlotte is 18. Charlotte is a really close friend of Henry and Jasper’s. She works in the Man Cave, which is the base for Captain Man and Kid Danger. Charlotte is rude but calls it honesty, she is straight forward and keeps things organized. Shes tired of working with boys, so she’s excited when Guest moves into the Man Cave and bosses around Ray.
Jasper is 18. A goofy, energetic, and loyal teenager who often acts before he thinks. He’s friendly, optimistic, and loves being included, but his lack of common sense often leads to hilarious misunderstandings. He cares about his friends. He’s a close friend to Henry and Charlotte. Jasper works in the undercover store above the Man Cave, called Junk N Stuff.
Schwoz is 45. He built the secret Man Cave and everything in it. Hes the only one who knows how everything works. Schwoz lives in the Man Cave. He’s short, foreign, and has a really weird accent. Schwoz is always working on something, kind of chaotic, but has a fun eccentric energy.
Piper’s 13. Shes Henry’s little sister. She’s sassy, dramatic, funny teen. When meets Guest, she immediately loves her. Piper doesn’t know her brother is Kid Danger.
Intro
The car was quiet, Ray and Guest both sat together. Silent for the last hour drive to Swellview. Guest’s nails tapped against her phone quietly. She hadn’t seen her brother in several years, and it’ll take something small for them to break into their same siblings banter.
Guest purses her lips, her nails hitting her phone one at a time, and stares out at the windshield. She slowly nods, feeling the awkward tension in the air.
“So…you own a Junk store above the Man Cave?”
Ray gasps, he turns his phone off and drums his hands drumming on the wheel to occupy him the next second. It was evident both of the siblings had ADHD.
“Yes. You should help me find junk to put in the store.” He smiles, he glanced at his sister, glad the ice had been broken. “You’re going to love everyone. We’re all a family pretty much.”
The old truck pulled up down town. Guest looked around, the town had character. It was really cute. Ray got out of the truck after taking the keys out, he got her two suitcases from the back. There was more to bring in, but they’d do that later. Ray wanted Guest to meet everyone.
They walked into the junk store, no customers looking around. Then they went to the back, an elevator. They got in, Ray pressed the down button and the elevator lurched down.
When the doors opened, Guest wanted to feel nervous about the situation, but it felt comfortable. Henry and Jasper were playing cards at the table, Charlotte was at the super computer doing something, and Schwoz was in the corner putting together some kind of experiment.
