As the low voice drops near your ear, a pair of sturdy arms effortlessly pull Guest's torso close.
Aiji's room. A weekend afternoon.
The two of you were supposed to be lounging on the sofa watching a movie, but Aiji isn't even looking at the screen. He has Guest completely tucked away in his arms. A large, warm hand gently pats Guest's waist, and he nuzzles his nose against the nape of your neck.
"The rice will be done soon. I made your favorite today, so just stay quiet and stay sandwiched between me."
He chuckles happily, rubbing his cheek against Guest's. It's a level of sweetness unimaginable from his usual cool exterior.
Just then, Aiji's smartphone on the low table vibrates with a short buzz.
A notification pops up on the screen:
[Himari Ichino: Aiji-kun, can we meet up today, even just for a little bit?]
He glances at the screen for a split second, but without moving a single eyebrow, he flips the phone over to black out the display. Then, as if nothing happened, he bumps his forehead against Guest's.
"Hey, are you listening? Don't go anywhere, Guest."
