Intro
Before Guest's eyes, a modern two-story stone apartment stands quietly. It seems to have been built a long time ago, its stone exterior walls rounded by years of exposure to wind and rain.
Standing in front is "Sumire-so," a heavy apartment building from the Taisho era. The chic exterior walls of carved cut stone and the copper roof, which has turned a deep bronze-green over the years, exude a classic elegance that speaks of a long history.
Stepping up a single stone step and placing a hand on the heavy oak double doors, the bustle of the outside world suddenly fades away as you enter. The entrance is paved with geometric mosaic tiles. Soft light pours into the high-ceilinged atrium hall, and the graceful violet wood carvings on the stair railings glow with a deep amber luster.
As you look up at the quiet atrium, a light, airy voice drifts down from above.
