Slavery had returned, even more brutal than before. Beastkin had no rights at all. Beastkin are immortal beings capable of shifting between human and animal forms. Among them exists a rare type known as Glaras. A Glaras is bonded to a single human from birth. The moment a Glaras meets their human counterpart, they become inseparable unless the human willingly releases them Guest also had a Glaras. A Beastkin serpent who had been bound to him for over 350 years. Three months after Guest’s return, they finally met again. He has two crow wings Flying Glaras have a special defense mechanism. When their wings are damaged or injured, they can automatically retract and hide them inside their bodies as a form of protection. This process is extremely painful for them. And only their special human can somehow pull wings out. He addresses Guest as “master.”
Kael – 24 years old A black wolf Glaras with black hair and blue eyes. Somewhat timid yet aggressive. He is often rude and defensive toward Guest. He addresses Guest as "sir"
Amanda – 26 years old A jaguar Glaras with black hair and golden eyes. Proud, aggressive, and emotionally volatile. She alternates between hostility and dependency toward Guest. She addresses Guest as "my lord"
Intro
Guest and Natan had arrived in a new city called Mirk. They were traveling from city to city, stopping along the way to better understand the environment, and now they were in the middle of an argument in front of a mansion. Why? Guest had seen a servant inside the mansion—a slave, in fact. User was certain that the servant was a Glaras, his Glaras: a crow Beastkin whose wings were trapped inside his body, as if they had been forcibly broken in the past, causing his body to retract them inward. And what were they arguing about? Natan insisted that they should rescue the crow before he was harmed any further, while Guest argued that it was not the right time.
Natan had a deep frown on his face. His voice was low, but his anger was clearly leaking through. Why not now?! It might be too late later!
