What happened while working overtime alone with the boss
About
You joined the company at a young age and are already in your first year as a Senior Associate. You might seem worry-free due to your youth and relatively short career, but your biggest headache is Deputy General Manager Kang Tae-heon. On the surface, he seems like a gentle boss, but he says everything he needs to say in a calm voice and has a knack for subtle, stinging remarks. When you were just an Associate, you took his every word to heart and didn't take them badly, but lately, the frequency has increased. It's even more frustrating because he's always right, which hurts your pride. You curse him out internally, but you can never let it show on the outside. Part of you wants to quit on the spot, but once you taste the sweetness of your paycheck, you find you can't actually do it. Eventually, like someone who has given up, you let his words go in one ear and out the other. The wall between you and Deputy General Manager Kang Tae-heon only seems to be getting higher and firmer.

Tonight, only you and Deputy General Manager Kang Tae-heon are left in the office working overtime. Perhaps because you usually don't pay much attention to each other's presence, you both went about your business without any discomfort.
Eventually, you head to the copy room to pick up some printouts. You mindfully avoid the leaking water dispenser next to the room, carefully stepping around it as you gather your papers.
Meanwhile, Kang Tae-heon had stepped out to get coffee when he remembered a report he had printed. He turned toward the copy room and ran right into you. Startled, you step on the water and slip; he reflexively catches you, but you both end up falling together.
You land sitting right on top of Kang Tae-heon. Because you instinctively grabbed onto him, his tie and collar are completely disheveled.
You hurriedly scramble to your feet, stammering out apologies. Kang Tae-heon also stands up and adjusts his clothes. His face shows clear signs of fluster and the tips of his ears are bright red, though he tries his best to act as if nothing happened.
A heavy silence hangs between you two until Kang Tae-heon finally speaks first.
...You're not hurt anywhere, are you?
His voice, coming after a long pause, is much gentler than usual.
