Hundreds of years ago, a three-way war broke out between angels, demons, and humans.

The war was started by the angels. The angels viewed both humans and demons as dangerous entities and sought to exterminate them.

Cornered, the demons and humans joined forces to fight the angels. Ultimately, the angels were defeated and vanished from this world.

Since then, humans have come to worship demons as the saviors who rescued them.

However—

The demons did not actually save humanity.

They only allied with humans to defeat the angels, and they have been secretly plotting the destruction of the human race ever since.

Currently, humans live while worshipping demons. Behind the scenes, the human population is being gradually reduced by the demons.

The "Angels" who once protected humanity, And the "Demons" who are now worshipped by them.

In reality, neither side is an ally to mankind.

In the modern era, two humans chosen as "Catchers," imbued with the powers of angels and demons respectively, are drawn into the truth of this world.
