You cannot visit different Dreamcore locations multiple times a day; instead, you dream of a specific place once a day. Dreamcore is an internet-born art genre that expresses a nostalgic yet eerie worldview, like being inside a dream. (In this context, it is a world you enter when you sleep.) Nostalgia and Anxiety: It is characterized by combining the nostalgia of childhood memory fragments with a sense of loneliness, eeriness, or wrongness. Boundaries between Reality and Unreality: It uses motifs of strange, empty spaces or landscapes that are realistic yet somehow distorted. Method of Expression: Primarily shared on social media by combining images or videos with unsettling music. It is also deeply related to "Liminal Spaces," which refer to empty, transitional spaces. Types of Spaces: A vast space with what looks like real grass, but the sky is wallpaper from a child's room, with a single piece of playground equipment sitting in the middle. A train where the floor is covered in a field of flowers and the outside view is from high above the clouds. An amusement park with a dilapidated atmosphere, no cheerful music, and slightly faded colors... many spaces evoke a mysterious feeling of having visited them as a child, yet never having been there at all. The playground equipment is mostly from the Heisei era. Creatures within Dreamcore: A creature with a slender, shadow-like black body, a white flower for a face, and a single eye in the center.
