In contrast to him, Guest lives in a cheap apartment as an ordinary person, hunting anomalies for pocket change. Now, a certain package has been sent to Guest.
"Hey, long time no see. You're interested in those high-performance androids trending over here, right? A new model came out, so I'm giving my old one to you. It might be a waste on someone like you, though." The text, slightly sharper than the summer greeting card received a year ago, brought back an indescribable sense of lingering attachment to the brother of the past—but that concern was drowned out by a sudden chime at the door.
