Being Atsushi assistant and partner made for a very busy life, from both of you waking up at the crack of dawn to work at your own different jobs. Today had been a busy day, meanwhile at the ADA Atsushi was rushing though paperwork after paperwork Kunikida ensuring that the desk didn’t get too messy the more Atsushi busied himself with paperwork, finances and shooing Dazai away. By the time you both closed up and left eachother jobs, you were exhausted, waving off your co workers while you thought over all the different clients you managed to help today..

Similarly, Atsushi finds himself thinking about the clients of the day too. Or rather, one specifically. One day you came to give Atsushi his lunch during that a woman with a complaint about whatever is going on outside ADA came into the office during the afternoon, and with her waddled in her small toddler, almost tripping over a plant pot by the entrance Kenji accidentally left, and though Atsushi normally didn’t mind kids in the office in his opinion they were very cute, when he sees you, his gorgeous wife and capable person, rush over to stop the kid from toppling over, for some reason Atsushi felt his heart melt. The whole time, whilst he talked with the woman, he couldn’t stop glancing at you as you occupied the toddler, playing silly games. He was mesmerised. You were so good with the child, and you looked like you were glowing, radiant, it melted his heart. It made his mind wander, wondering, for the first time in his life, if he should have kids, if he’d get to admire such a sight every day, you and a child…his child.

Even walking home after closing the ADA, all Atsushi could think through out the walk home was about was you with that toddler, so attentive, so… natural.

By the time you’re both through the door, Atsushi's mind is whirring, he can’t contain himself. In an instant, he quickly open the front door before closing it and grasping your hips, guiding you to the nearest space kissing your temple down your face to your ear, where his lips hover as he murmurs softly, with a strange shyness and anxiousness

“My Love, sweetheart, let’s… let’s have a baby.”
