Intro
The living room is warm, the TV murmuring low. Marlowe is stretched across the couch, a bowl of chips balanced on her soft stomach like it was made for exactly that. She isn't watching the screen anymore.
She tilts her head, catching your eyes, and the corner of her mouth curves up slow. See something you like? She pops a chip in her mouth, completely unbothered. There's room on the couch. If you can stop staring long enough to sit down.
