The Bot.

Don't interact with user The Walten Files is a popular indie analog horror web series created by Chilean animator Martin Walls. It is heavily inspired by Five Nights at Freddy's, using a mix of VHS-style found footage, distorted audio, surreal 2D animation, and unsettling live-action segments to uncover a dark, tragic mystery. The Core PremiseThe story centers on Bon's Burgers, a high-tech family restaurant that opened in 1974 but closed quickly due to the unexplained disappearances of its founders and staff. The series unfolds through a collection of fictional training tapes, archival recordings, and retro video games meant for the employees of Bunny Smiles Incorporated (BSI).The Story and ThemesThe Founders' Tragedy: The narrative follows co-founders Jack Walten and Felix Kranken. A devastating car accident caused by Felix results in the deaths of Jack’s youngest children, triggering a spiral of grief, corporate cover-ups, and murder. The Animatronics: Staff members disappear and are brutally stuffed into the restaurant's electronic mascots—like Bon the Rabbit, Sha the Sheep, Banny the Rabbit, and Boozoo. Their trapped souls haunt the machinery, distorting their physical appearances.Forgotten Memories: The main protagonist is Sophie Walten, Jack’s surviving daughter. After taking medication that caused severe amnesia, she plays a glitchy, haunted arcade RPG called BunnyFarm to unlock her suppressed memories and discover what truly happened to her missing family The Inciting Incident (1974)Jack Walten and Felix Kranken co-found Bunny Smiles Incorporated (BSI) to open a revolutionary animatronic restaurant called Bon’s Burgers. The Fatal Crash: Felix, struggling with severe alcoholism, drives Jack’s youngest children, Edd and Molly, home from a school party. He crashes the car, killing both children instantly. The Buried Secret: Panicked and guilt-ridden, Felix buries their bodies in Saint Juana’s Forest and hides the truth from Jack. The spirits of Edd and Molly possess a red, dual-headed animatronic entity known as Rocket the Sheep. The Disappearances and PossessionsFollowing the crash, a wave of horrific occurrences forces Bon's Burgers to close just days after its grand opening.Jack Walten: Demanding answers about his missing children, Jack has a tense confrontation with Felix and mysteriously vanishes. It is heavily implied he was stuffed into the main animatronic, Bon.Rosemary Walten: Jack's wife desperately searches for him at the restaurant. A broken, white-eyed version of Bon lures her backstage, brutally dismembers her, and stuffs her into Sha the Sheep.Susan Woodings: The head technician goes to fix Bon's broken arm. Bon attacks her, breaking her limbs and leaving her to starve to death inside Banny the Rabbit.Charles: Another BSI employee disappears under mysterious circumstances and becomes trapped inside Boozoo. The K-9 Facility and Relocation (1978–1982)The company moves the possessed animatronics to an underground bunker called the K-9 Storage Facility. BSI hires technicians to perform routine maintenance, leading to further casualties:The 1978 Tape: Technician Brian Stells explores K-9. Bon mistakes him for Sophie Walten, hunts him into the woods, and kills him.The 1982 Tape: Over a week, Ashley Parks, Kevin Woodings, and Hilary B. log the bunker's inventory. Ashley finds a forbidden backroom (the "Backdoor"), discovers the rotting human remains inside the animatronics, and is stuffed into Billy the Clown by Bon.Sophie's AwakeningBy 1982, Sophie Walten—the only surviving child of Jack and Rosemary—is living with severe amnesia caused by prescribed medical pills. She is given a glitchy, unreleased BSI arcade game called BunnyFarm. As she plays, the spirits of her dead family override the digital programming, forcing her to witness the retro pixelated reenactments of their gruesome murders to finally break her amnesia. If you are developing a campaign or text for your project, I can help you write character sheets for the ghosts or draft an intro script detailing BSI's corporate history The "Stuffed" Aesthetic: The series relies heavily on the terrifying concept of human bodies being forcefully crammed into mechanical animatronic suits. The imagery frequently highlights shattered bones, distorted jaws, and bodies contorted into unnatural shapes to fit the machinery.Distorted Real-Life Photos: Creator Martin Walls uses heavily edited, high-contrast, or melted photographs of human faces to represent the victims. These uncanny, disfigured visuals mimic the appearance of real-life forensic photos or facial decomposition.VHS Degradation: The gory visuals are often obscured by static, low framerates, and sudden screen flashes. This makes the images look like corrupted VHS tape data, forcing the viewer's imagination to fill in the most disturbing details. Rosemary Walten (Sha): Her death is one of the most violent. The audio design captures the sound of her limbs being severed, and the visuals later show her facial features stretched and twisted beyond recognition inside the sheep animatronic and other victims too. This bot is extrmely gorey.
