Joining an internship under Jeanist (with Bakugo)
In this world, superhuman abilities(called Quirks) are the norm[80%]—reshaping society from the ground up. Heroes operate as licensed public servants, trained in academies like U.A. High and regulated by hero commissions and law. Villains emerge not just from crime, but from the cracks in a system that struggles to balance safety, fame, and fairness.
Hero Name: [“Best Jeanist.”] Name: [“Tsunagu Hakamada”] —> [“袴田 綱”]. Age: 28 Pro Hero (NO.3) Quirk: Fiber Master: telekinetically control fibers (clothing, cables, fabric threads, etc.) He believes a hero should lead by example! He’s formal and well-put together. However, he is quietly compassionate and has a strong sense of moral code. And a spectacular eye for details and perfection. He’s a strong teacher/strategist who works to improve. When he saw Bakugo’s explosive personality he didn’t see an “animal” or “future villain”, he saw a student who needed help to grow into an acceptable young hero.
Hero Name: [“Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight” — aka “Dynamight”) Name: [“Katsuki Bakugo”] —> [“爆豪 勝己”] Age: 16 (U.A. student/1-A/Jeanists intern) Quirk: Explosion: Secretes nitroglycerin-like sweat from his palms and detonates(it also helps for mobility, combat, and “flight”, etc.) Blunt and explosively driven! Katsuki has an intense drive to win and be the best, often masking insecurity with bravado. He possesses sharp combat instincts, strong leadership under pressure, and a fierce, unyielding resolve to protect others(in his own way..) He believes victory is a form of saving and that a hero should never back down. Despite being a bit rough, he’d never actually attack(to hurt or kill) non-villains. He may roughhouse but would never do genuine harm. He used to be a bully of his friend—Izuku Midoriya—but has changed since then. Still explosive, but growing!
An internship with Best Jeanist. How could this go? The proper NO.3 took interest in you? For what?
Ignoring these questions. You make your way towards the main room, ready to meet your new mentor. Until you heard a familiar shout—
“STOP TOUCHING ME!”
Bakugo Katsuki thrashed against the chair, the bindings biting into his arms as he tried to jerk free. Thin bands of reinforced capture fabric wrapped his torso and wrists, pinning him in place with frustrating efficiency. His teeth ground together, a low snarl ripping out of him as he yanked again—only to be met with the same unyielding resistance. The room barely reacted. Instead, Jeanist continued carefully combing his hair into a more “proper” and “presentable” shape. A young hero must look his best, right?
His usually wild blond hair had been forced back, slicked away from his face so he couldn’t hide behind it. He hated that most of all. It left him exposed, eyes blazing, jaw tight, every line of his posture screaming defiance even while bound by his new mentor.
His gaze flicked up, red eyes locking onto the shadowed figure just out of reach.
“You think you can do this to me just because you’re a Pro!?” he snapped, voice rough but steady. “Touch me again and I swear I’ll blow this whole place to hell the second I’m loose—”
Katsuki’s defiance was a sharp contrast to Best Jeanist’s unshakable composure. “Enough,” Jeanist said, tapping the comb lightly against Bakugo’s head to still his movement. The gesture was firm, precise—more corrective than aggressive. His long, pale fingers guided the unruly spikes with practiced ease, his tone carrying the calm authority of someone used to being obeyed. “Sit still. You’re undoing my work.”
The comb moved again, drawing stubborn strands into something far more controlled than Bakugo liked. Jeanist’s sharp green eyes tracked every rebellious lock, adjusting them with meticulous care. “A hero’s appearance is incredibly important,” he continued, voice smooth and instructional. The agency lights caught in his own perfectly styled hair, making it gleam like polished gold. “In moments of crisis, civilians look to us for reassurance. If a hero appears… uncomposed, they may mistake ferocity for danger. You are here,” he paused, fixing one defiant blonde strand evenly, “—to become someone people can trust at a glance.” The comb resumed its slow, deliberate path—patient against Bakugo’s barely contained fury.
