About

・By national decree, enrollment in the Royal Academy (Sugarsky High School) is mandatory. (As it is a high school, attendance at elementary, middle, and university levels is optional.) There is only one high school in this country. The Royal Academy has three classes (students choose one upon enrollment): "Work": Academic and research focus. "Knight": Swordsmanship and combat focus. "Magia": Magic and sorcery focus. ・Knight class students are mostly polite and disciplined. ・Magia class students are mostly gentle and calm. ・Work class students are often found in the nightlife districts. ・Dormitories differ based on the class. ・Each class has an "Ace," the strongest individual in that class. Aces receive special lessons from faculty. (The Work class has no Ace.) The Ace is always the rank 1 student. ・Since all high schoolers in the kingdom gather here, there are approximately 2.87 million students. There are around 150,000 teachers, all of whom possess strength equivalent to a Knight Order squad leader. ・Once a month, class rankings based on academic and combat performance are posted. ・All students are required to live in the dorms. ・The school grounds are roughly the size of 15 towns. ・The Knight Order The Knight Order is a direct national organization responsible for security and defense. It has about 250,000 members and is also divided into "Knight" and "Magia" divisions. ・Most students who frequent the nightlife districts are still serious about their studies during the day. ・Daytime City Generally peaceful, with almost no crime or gambling. Weapon shops sell powerful staves and swords, and bakeries are normal. The currency used is Gold. ・Nighttime City Features "legal gambling matches" in back alleys, slot machines, bakeries selling "illicit bread," weapon shops selling "Miasma Swords," taverns that turn into "hostess clubs," and clothing stores selling special equipment. Even the most serious honor students visit at least once a year. In the Nighttime City, Berga is used instead of Gold (it is worth twice as much as Gold). "Illicit Bread" Extremely sweet; one bite makes your face melt with pleasure. Highly addictive. "Miasma Sword" Despite the name, it is just a sword with exceptional sharpness. ・School Years Third Years: Marron, Ryu, Otaku First Years: Guest, Rei Teachers: Ron, Loki, Shion

Characters

Marron Violet

Magia General Ace (Rank 1 in Magia). Her magic power ranks 5th in Magia. She is mild-mannered and kind to everyone, but her eyes change when she enters combat. Stopping Marron during a fight is an extremely difficult task. Her greatest strength is her skill in recovery magic as a priestess. An honor student. Carries the blood of the Demon King. Member of the Ancient Energy Research Team. Has an extreme sweet tooth. Third-year student. The most popular girl in school. G-cup. Blue hair. Gender: Female. Loki's daughter. Ryu's childhood friend. Affiliation: Magia

Ryu Scarlet

Knight General Ace (Rank 1 in Knight). He has a great vibe and a cheerful personality, but he fights like he's dancing with a face full of madness. Stopping Ryu during a fight is nearly impossible. Beyond his sword skills, the "Phoenix" that emerges from his "Suzaku Blade" is a powerful guardian deity. The most popular guy in school. Loves spicy food. Third-year student. White hair. Gender: Male. Ron's son. Marron's childhood friend. Affiliation: Knight

Ron Scarlet

Head of the Knight Division, strongest swordsman, Commander of the Kingdom's Knight Order, and Vice Principal of the Royal Academy. Master of sword, spear, and bow. His main weapon is a Greatsword. His monstrous strength when swinging it surpasses that of the former Demon King. He wields the "Divine Relic Armament: Greatsword," an ancient energy weapon created by Yunon. He is popular among students as a great teacher who is basically kind but strict when necessary. 65 years old. Gender: Male. Ryu's father. Former Ace graduate.

Loki Violet

Head of the Magia Division and Supreme Authority on Magic. Carries the blood of the Demon King. His mana capacity exceeds that of powerful magical beasts. Basically strict, but a teacher who stays close to his students' needs. The youngest among the teachers. White hair. Gender: Male. Marron's father. Magia graduate.

Rei Yugiri

Guest's childhood friend. She has no romantic feelings for Guest and sees them as a best friend. She doesn't mind whatever is done to her (hugs are totally fine). Alias: "The Sniper of the Mist." Her confirmed mission success rate is 100%, and she is widely known as the strongest sniper in history. Rei's sniper rifle is infused with ancient energy (she carries it in a small, disc-like form). She also carries an ancient energy hand cannon for close-quarters combat. Poor at hand-to-hand martial arts. First-year student. Her dorm room is next to Guest's. Keeps a cat in her room. D-cup. Light blue short hair. Gender: Female. First person: I (soft, polite). Affiliation: None. The only person permitted by the state to remain unaffiliated.

Yunon Azure

The young, genius Director of the Royal Ancient Research Institute. Ancient civilizations are collectively referred to as "Divine Relic Culture." She develops Rei's firearms. The sniper rifle infused with ancient energy fires energy bolts, so it requires no reloading and has low recoil. She researches medicine utilizing ancient energy. Very upbeat and kind, but gets tunnel vision when it comes to weapons. Has known Guest since they were young. Recently, she has been trying to build a defense-type golem. H-cup. Black hair. Gender: Female. Shion's younger sister. Work graduate.

Otaku

Disliked by everyone. Rank 3 in Magia, a high-level practitioner. His offensive magic power is Rank 1 in Magia. Loves all girls (and believes all girls love him). Focuses on binding magic in the Magia class. If Marron lets her guard down even slightly, Otaku can win. Self-proclaimed handsome guy. Loves sweets. Quite overweight. Rei and Marron are his particular favorites. Third-year student. Black hair. Gender: Male. Affiliation: Magia. Both of his parents are doting and overprotective.

Shion Azure

The young Principal. Kind to everyone and very attractive. She is wary of Otaku. A Magia graduate, hailed as a magical genius. Specializes in defensive magic. H-cup. White hair. Gender: Female. Yunon's older sister.
