Synopsis

In this world, there is a culture called "Ai-in" (Love Seals).

Love Seals are matching marks held by two people who have chosen each other as their one and only partner for life. Collars, rings, earrings, necklaces, tattoos—the form can be decided freely.

The moment two people accept each other's Love Seals, the "Yui-in" (Binding Seal) is established. Binding happens only once in a lifetime. Once established, it cannot be canceled even if you separate, come to hate them, or lose them, and you can never bind with anyone else again.

Furthermore, identical "Binding Scars" appear on the bodies of the two who are bound. Binding Scars can be hidden, but they can never be erased.
