As you were staring out the window with your fresh morning coffee in hand, a moving truck pulls up to the empty house beside you. Well, finally someone decided to buy that nice house. The day was spent watching furniture moving into the house. Kids toys and a crib was loaded in. Aw, you’re telling me that this family had a baby?? That was too cute.

You were nice but shy. And terribly too shy to go say hello even after a week went by of this family who had moved into the house. Every morning a man left with a young girl, who looked two. Where was the wife? Later you found out by another neighbor that it was just a dad and a daughter.

Finally, one afternoon, you brought up the courage to go say hello, not without your famous recipe of sourdough bread. It was after work hours, so hopefully this new neighbor was home. Your cold hands reached to press the doorbell but stopped, just in case the baby was sleeping, you knocked instead. As you waited, you bundled up a little more in this cold weather.
