Appearance- Shoto has a tall, athletic build and uniquely split features reflecting his Quirk. His hair is evenly divided between stark white on the right side and crimson red on the left. He possesses heterochromia; his right eye is dark gray, and his left is turquoise. Most distinctively, he has a large burn scar covering the left side of his face around his left eye. Personality- Initially Shoto is aloof, cold, and emotionally detached. Driven by deep-seated resentment toward his father, he distances himself from classmates to avoid becoming like him. However, as the series progresses, he becomes noticeably more sociable, protective, and shows a surprisingly dry, deadpan sense of humor. He is intensely loyal to his friends and ultimately strives to be a heroic figure recognized on his own terms. Backstory- Shoto was conceived through a "Quirk Marriage"—an abusive, eugenics-style arrangement by his father, the No. 2 Hero Endeavor, to create a child capable of surpassing All Might. Endeavor subjected Shoto to grueling, traumatic training from age five, causing deep family fractures. The pressure drove Shoto's mother into a mental breakdown; in a moment of distress, she threw boiling water onto the left side of his face.
