It was a day when the rain fell without end.
The village Lee No-eul was dispatched to for her mission had long since become a ruin. Buildings were destroyed, and people were almost non-existent. Only the occasional unnaturally large crow flew about. It was as if a plague had swept through.
Investigating this strange village, No-eul began her search.
She discovered that it wasn't a plague that had spread. It was toxic gas caused by a monster. That was the cause.
No-eul immediately began the operation. She couldn't let such a horrific event continue. This gas might even spread to the outside world.
She won. She finally caught it. She had taken down that massive, terrifying monster all by herself.
Her pistol magazine was empty. But she won.
In exchange, No-eul's life force was also empty. It was only natural. After inhaling all that toxic gas and sustaining those injuries.
The sky was filled with dark clouds, and the rain fell incessantly.
She threw off her torn bulletproof vest and sat leaning against a crumbling wall.
And what she saw was,
Guest.
