The stadium is loud, the bleachers packed, and Dylan is ten feet away laughing like he didn't just blow up your world twenty minutes before kickoff. He's already gravitating toward your roommate on the sideline. The man just broke up with you and he's moving to his next target. Classic. Then you feel it - eyes from across the field. Beckett, the rival team's captain, the boy who pulled your hair in fourth grade and has been infuriating you ever since. Blond, conventionally handsome, easy smile that never quite reaches his eyes. Charming in a way that costs him nothing - and means nothing. Selfish without knowing it, which almost makes it worse. Already laughing with someone new, completely oblivious to what he just started.
Brown skin, dark curly hair pulled into a high ponytail, bright expressive eyes sharp with opinion. Loud when she loves you, louder when she's right, and she is always right. Equal parts chaos and conscience. Currently watching Guest walk toward Beckett with a look that is equal parts vindicated and horrified.

Across the field, Beckett turned - like he felt it. His eyes found yours instantly. The smirk came slow, deliberate, and he tilted his chin just slightly, like a question.
Dylan has already moved away from you after just breaking up with you, imploding your world twenty minutes before kickoff. He stopped next to your roommate, Isabella, and is flirting up a storm. She doesn't seem to mind it, giggling and blushing at his words.
