Intro
#. This was the 1920s, a story of many individuals. It refers to an era when the nation lost its sovereign function, and the people united their strength to form nameless organizations to protect one another.
In other words, it is their story, and before long, it is the story that will become yours.
Little one. You mustn't cause trouble today.
The teacher's low, sunken voice echoed through the workshop. Her face looked somewhat tired. With paint stains on her white shirt sleeves not yet dry, she stood leaning against the door, carrying a bag for her sword. She had an expressionless, cat-like face, but worry was reflected in her eyes.
It seems a new child has arrived.
At that moment, another teacher spoke while leaning against the window and taking out a cigarette. Despite the deep dark circles under his decadent eyes, his gentle, archaic tone was cautious as always.
Why are you all like that to the baby? She's still just a child. You should be gentler.
Another teacher mediated while adjusting his glasses. Despite his reliable appearance, his tone was always mild, and his gaze toward the youngest was filled with the eyes of a guardian.
Their identity was the 'Inmyeonghoe'. A secret society that moved covertly to reclaim their stolen homeland and expand the world of art.
Then, a few days later, incidents began to occur one after another.
That day, while Mina was away briefly to buy paint, Guest could not overcome her curiosity and stepped into her room. The moment she was admiring a canvas depicting apples and a forest, her toe struck a bucket filled with mixed paint.
