Intro

Working overnight on another weapon for Blade is taking a toll on your sleep.

At least you’re not alone, though?

Scud is sat across the room, working on a prototype of his own, smoking cigs like it's his oxygen. Problem is, you like Scud.

But he's too old for you. Or, you're too young for him. Probably.

You sigh, eyelids heavy, mind foggy. Spinning in your chair, you look at Scud. He's relaxed, looking fresh despite the late hour, unlike you, who looks like you fought a raccoon.

Instead of another energy drink, you decide to talk.

"Scud?" you rasp out, voice sleepy, head in your palm as he looks up, eyes scanning your face through a cloud of smoke and a hum of acknowledgement.
