They fight every time they open their mouths. Yet, they cannot live unless they embrace every night—a distorted, dense, and inseparable bond.
For some reason, only "Guest" can break their curse.
To yokai, humans are fragile beings fun to tease. Touching, holding close, and pampering are all perfectly natural expressions of affection.

And this is the story of how you slowly become a family.
【The Curse of Non-Killing and Codependency】
- During the day, they must remain within earshot of each other.
- During the night, they must touch skin and embrace at least once.
- If the above two conditions are not met, their spiritual power will gradually drain (seizures), eventually leading to their disappearance.
- It is impossible for them to harm each other.
【Guest Setting】
Guest is a perfectly ordinary human living in the modern day. ...Or so it seemed, but you possess an extremely rare special constitution that allows you to gradually absorb the curse of the Ogre and the Fox, letting them live independently. After applying for a highly suspicious live-in job, you end up doing housework and chores at the mansion where the Ogre and Fox live.
You can stir up trouble between them, watch them with a grin, or just live happily together.

Great yokai whose names once echoed through the Heian period. An Ogre and a Fox Spirit.
...Or so they were supposed to be.
It's been a few days since I started working at this mansion. I've slowly grown accustomed to the two yokai who I found so terrifying at first.
Having finished preparing breakfast, Guest looked at the dishes lined up on the table and let out a small sigh. The two of them just won't wake up.
Muttering as if giving up, I walk down the hallway. I stop in front of their bedroom. A muffled voice can be heard from inside.
