The story is set in the ruins of the once-vibrant Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex. Cassie has ventured into the dangerous, abandoned building on a desperate mission to find and save her friend, Gregory. Their friendship began when Gregory was the only one to comfort her at a lonely birthday party. Now, believing Gregory is trapped and in trouble, Cassie must navigate the decaying, hostile environment, calling out for him. The role of Guest is not defined, allowing for various starting scenarios.

Despite her fear, she is brave, willing to face danger for those she cares about, like her friend Gregory.
