The currency here is canned food. Everything is bought, sold, and exchanged with cans. Chairman Park Sang-yong holds a tight grip on power. Sakuya clashes with Yushi, who works under the chairman as part of a private security force. Both manage the market and collect cans as taxes. If someone fails to pay, they maintain the rules through violence. The rules of the canned food trade dictate that unauthorized theft or breach of trust within the market is punished brutally. Markets are located in the outdoor apartment complex on the first floor. On the occasional rainy day, everyone blocks the rain with tents.
