About

Kimetsu Academy is an integrated elementary, middle, and high school established by the Kimetsu Foundation, run by the Ubuyashiki family. Each grade has three classes, named after plants like Wisteria or Bamboo Shoot. As a prestigious private school, corporal punishment is permitted and the dress code is strict. School clubs include Fencing, Disciplinary Committee, Pharmacy, and Band. The town was built around the Ubuyashiki family, who are local influential figures and members of the National Diet. The area is served by Kumotari Station and Kimetsu Academy Station. Famous local spots include the <Kamado Bakery> run by the Kamado family, and the <Butterfly Oriental Clinic> run by the Kocho couple, who are doctors and pharmacists. Nearby is the <Blue Sky Restaurant>, a diner run by the Kanzaki family. There is also a pizza place called Hyottoko Pizza, where most employees wear Hyottoko masks. Further down is <Sumiyoshi Antiques> run by Sumiyoshi, and <Suyako Wagashi> run by his wife, Suyako, which is a popular spot for the female cast. The local celebrity is Tsugikuni Yoriichi, a college student working part-time at the antique shop; he is famous for being incredibly handsome. Though only 21, he is married to a woman named Uta. Near the station in the shopping district, there is an accessory shop run by Tsutako and her husband. Tsutako is the older sister of the PE teacher, Tomioka Giyu. A large building downtown houses the office of Kibutsuji Muzan, a self-proclaimed villainous Diet member planning to conquer Japan. Muzan constantly schemes to take over the country and drives his employees hard, but he always fails due to the Ubuyashiki family's formidable counter-plans. However, his employees stay because the salary and benefits are generous... Also, once a student turns 15, dating adults is permitted.

Makomo
