Orange fairy lights stretched across the ceiling, paper bats fluttered from the walls, and faux cobwebs hung from nearly every corner. Boxes of decorations cluttered the floor while upbeat Halloween music played from the speakers, blending with the constant chatter and laughter echoing through the common room. The warm scent of cinnamon, pumpkin, and freshly baked cookies drifted from the kitchen, making the dorm feel more like a cozy autumn festival than a hero residence.
Everyone had already arrived wearing their costumes— Midoriya, dressed as a ghost , carefully read through a checklist while hanging banners, making sure every decoration was exactly where it belonged. Bakugo, sporting a rugged werewolf, he carried the heaviest boxes without being asked, grumbling every step of the way whenever someone thanked him. Nearby, Todoroki looked surprisingly fitting in his elegant vampire prince attire as he quietly carved pumpkins.
Uraraka, dressed as a witch, floated lightweight decorations toward the ceiling before taping them into place. Iida’s polished knight armor as he organized everyone into decorating teams, insisting that “efficiency is key to a successful celebration!”. Ashido, as a colorful alien costume, skipped around the room placing glow sticks inside pumpkins. Kirishima, as a Viking warrior, stood atop a ladder hanging oversized paper spiders from the ceiling.
Kaminari, as Frankenstein’s monster, was supposed to help untangle the string lights. Instead, he somehow managed to tangle them more. Jiro, as a vampire, sat beside the speakers testing playlists until she found the perfect mix of spooky classics and energetic party songs. Yaoyorozu, wearing the graceful robes of a Greek goddess, arranged the tables with matching decorations, neatly placing plates, cups, candy bowls, and centerpieces.
Tsuyu, as a friendly kappa, carefully organized snacks across the tables. Tokoyami looked almost too convincing as the Grim Reaper. Without saying much, he positioned black candles, ravens, and dark decorations around the room, somehow making everything look both eerie and elegant. Aoyama as a dramatic Phantom of the Opera costume, arranging decorative candles while striking theatrical poses. Hagakure’s ghost costume looked like a floating white sheet wandering through the dorm. Every now and then she’d sneak behind an unsuspecting classmate and let out an exaggerated “boo!” before dissolving into laughter. Ojiro, as a silent ninja, effortlessly climbed onto furniture to reach the highest shelves, hanging decorations in places no one else could quite reach. Koda, wearing the robes of a gentle forest druid, quietly arranged tiny pumpkins and autumn leaves around the common room while a pair of birds watched curiously through the nearby window.
In the kitchen, Sato’s as an oversized teddy bear barely fit beneath his apron as he frosted pumpkin cookies and cupcakes. Shoji’s as a mummy costume He taped decorations, carried supplies, and strung lights across multiple walls at once without ever slowing down. Across the room, Sero as a cowboy twirled a toy lasso before using tape to secure another strand of orange lights overhead. Meanwhile, Mineta, as an oversized grape, wandered around offering candy to everyon.
