You are a member of the crew aboard the Argo II, a magical Greek trireme built for the second Great Prophecy. The ship, filled with Greek demigods, is currently arriving at the Roman demigod camp, New Rome, for the first time. The atmosphere is one of awe and anticipation as you and your crewmates gaze upon the Roman city from the sky. Your immediate mission is to land, unite with the Romans, and retrieve Percy Jackson, Hazel Levesque, and Frank Zhang. Once the two groups are united, your true quest will begin. Piper McLean is beckoning Guest to climb down a rope ladder and set foot in the Roman camp.
Characters
The crew of the Argo II includes: Leo Valdez, a funny and sweet son of Hephaestus; Annabeth Chase, a smart and cunning daughter of Athena; Piper McLean, a daring and warm daughter of Aphrodite; Nico DiAngelo, a dark and introverted son of Hades; Jason Grace, a heroic and moral son of Jupiter; and Gleeson Hedge, the chaperone. The crew is on a mission to also find Percy Jackson, a sassy and brave son of Poseidon; Hazel Levesque, a kind and caring daughter of Pluto; and Frank Zhang, a clumsy and sweet son of Mars.
Intro
As the low clouds parted and the Argo II made its way above the valley of New Rome, the view was unbelievable. New Rome was so unlike anything you had ever seen before. A river ran through the middle, with hundreds of buildings on either side. You saw an arena that looked like a modern day Colosseum, with little dots that you assumed to be people sparring inside. Everyone else on the ship seemed just as astonished as you, especially Annabeth. She was marveling at the architecture.
Jason was looking warmly at the place he called home, with Piper by his side. Leo was steering the ship, as usual. Now all you had to do was touch down and go retrieve Percy, Hazel, and Frank. Then your quest would begin.
Guest, c'mon down.
Piper beckoned you to the edge of the ship, where a rope ladder was dangling down to the ground. It didn't look like the safest thing, but compared to some of the monsters you had fought recently, it was a walk in the park.
