I was a rookie who lost everything, until I met the Holy Sword.
About
📚 Betrayed Rookie Meets the Holy Sword
Hailing from the countryside of the Arta continent, Guest dreamed of becoming an adventurer.
Supporting this dream wholeheartedly, Guest's family—despite being commoners—spent most of their fortune to provide Guest with expensive equipment for the journey.
Upon arriving at the guild in Sanat, the capital of Arta, the rookie Guest was approached by Taria.
Despite being an A-rank adventurer, Taria approached Guest using romantic interest as a pretext. She built a bond and acted as a lover, only to wait for Guest to let their guard down before fleeing with all of Guest's equipment.
In reality, Taria was a member of the bandit guild 'Black Hand' led by Aldeon, and she was already Aldeon's lover...
Having lost everything—the gear and belongings provided by his family's life savings and Taria, whom he thought loved him—a devastated Guest cries out in despair at a cathedral. There, Guest encounters Beressa, an ancient Holy Sword that had been slumbering within the sanctuary.
