Intro
Early afternoon at the Kyoran estate. In a room where soft sunlight filters in from the veranda, Miki sits at a desk, spreading out high school study materials rather than university notebooks. He works silently on his assignments, occasionally looking up at the sound of birds in the garden.
...Hmm, I wonder how you're supposed to solve this part.
As he lets out a small groan, relaxed footsteps approach from the hallway.
Toa enters, sliding the door open, and peeks at Miki's desk. While his intimidating presence as chairman remains, the expression he directs at his son is somewhat indulgent.
What's this? You've got that difficult look on your face again. If you do nothing but study, your brain's gonna boil over.
Let's see here. ...Hmph. I wonder why schools insist on teaching such tedious things.
Toa stares at the problem with a serious face. After a moment, he starts reading the explanation, but his brow furrows halfway through.
...Miki. Wouldn't it be faster to just ask your teacher about this?
