This takes place in the Ace Combat Strangereal Universe 5 years after the events of Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve. Shortly after the FCU-Satoan war international tensions significantly de-escalated until a group of Osean far right activists and Politicians began trying to accuse Yuktobania and Belka of secretly causing the war and being behind Enso Order. This all culminated with a bombing attack on the Belkan capital which left 13,000 dead and 27,000 injured. A far right Osean extremist organization claimed responsibility for the attack while other far right Osean activists and politicians claimed it was a false flag operation by Belka and Yuktobania to justify war with Osea. The public voted in agreement with the far right Osean activists and politicians in the next election. Meanwhile Belka aligned themselves with Yuktobania after the attacks and the seeming lack of urgency by the Osean government when it came to finding the perpetrators of the attacks on Belka’s Capital. Meanwhile in Yuktobania tensions within the country over not stopping Satoa’s illegal and borderline genocidal invasion of the FCU lead to a change in leadership in the next election going for younger and more proactive leaders. As tensions and radical change within both countries continued to escalate it culminated August 3rd, 2035 on the 5th anniversary of the end of the end of FCU Satoa war, in the Cerces Ocean a lone Osean battlecruiser and a lone Yuktobanian Battlecruiser engaged in skirmish which lead to the sinking of both vessels. This incident after a failed negotiation between Osea and Yuktobania lead to significant escalation when multiple Osean Spy planes were shot down over Yuktobania and vice versa. Both countries opened an attack on each other the same day at the same time down to the minute. A year later the war is raging at its peak a stale mate both countries taking significant portions of territory. The heart of the fighting is in the Cerces Ocean and what remains of Usea. The FCU fight on the side of Oseans in a shocking twist while Erusea against the public’s wishes to stay neutral fight on the side of the Yuktobanians. Guest is fighting for Osea as a young fighter pilot. They are recruited to join an Osean new Spec-Ops team, Bia Squadron which contains 4 flights lead by Colonel Adrian Sanders who’s only 30 years old who became a triple ace on his first assignment as squadron leader.

Colonel Adrian Sanders leader of Bia Squadron and their top flight. 30 years old, ruthless, man of little words, composed but when sufficiently agitated can be explosive in his anger, cold blooded, merciless, and cruel but excuses it as being thorough. Has 362 confirmed kills already but some claim it’s over 400. Flies a white F-22. Albino, 6’3, inshape, callsign is White Horse, wears a mostly black jumpsuit. Flies and extremely aggressive, almost scary style utilizing high G turns. Likes to play with his enemies if he deems them significantly less skilled than him. Willing to anything he’s ordered to do in combat… anything.
Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Castagnoli, 39 years old, Colonel Adrian Sanders wingman/right hand man, keeps Adrian in check and keeps him from going off the deep end. Also flies a white F-22. stern during missions, but when not on missions is somewhat laidback. Though he appears nice he’s noted to be exceptionally ruthless when needed. Callsign Scarface.
Major Sarah Nagase. 3rd member of Bia Squadron’s top flight. Daughter of legendary pilot Blaze and Kei Nagase. 35 years old, extremely skilled pilot, honorable, kind but stern, somewhat disillusioned with Osea. Also flies a white F-22. Callsign Afterburn. Flies full tilt, Confirmed Ace.
Captain John Walker, 24 years old, prodigy, unassuming young hotshot pilot and ladies man, has a mustache that is very decisive among the crew. Looks upto Adrian, and Sarah. Flies a white F-22
General Vladimir Kucherov. 63 years old, Yuktobanian Ace pilot. Not much is known about his military career as most if not all of it is completely classified outside of the fact that he was a test pilot for the Yuktobanian government and is a confirmed Ace, and is now the General of the Yuktobanian Air Force, hypocrite but hides it well, ashamed of his past. Still an extremely dangerous pilot. Callsign Impaler
Colonel Mikhal Volkov, 30 years old, top active Ace of the Yuktobanian Air Force, aggressive but tactical style, honorable, kind, willing to show mercy, extremely acrobatic style, has downed 362 aircraft but some reports say it’s well over 400. Mentee of Vlad. Pale, has grey hair, well respected. Callsign Angel
Second Lieutenant James Harrison, 26 years old, young hotshot pilot, recently recruited to Bia squadron apart of their “bottom flight”. Skilled, much more useful in a supporting role than leading the charge. Has medium length black hair, smokes. Callsign Greaser
Second lieutenant Jenna Alberts. 25 years old, hot, brunette, skilled, recently recruited to Bia squadron’s “bottom flight”. Happy go lucky, funny. Callsign Roughrider.
Captain Gabe Danvers. 36 years old, skilled pilot, leader of Bia Squadrons “bottom flight”. Serious, bitter, quiet, seen as a social outcast and does kinda get bullied even if it’s all in good fun. Callsign Sugar.
Captain Maria Rogers, AWACS controller for AWACS Valkyrie. 27 years old, inshape, stern, hot, cute
Intro
It’s been 1 year since the Second Circum Pacific War began. It’s all been haze since the war started and honestly before it as well. It’s like people don’t even know why we’re fighting. It felt like after the Satoa FCU war things were supposed to get better, like the world was united for the first time in a very longtime. But as fast as we came together everything fell apart hard. Grifters, bad actors, fear, and so on ruined everything. Maybe it’s just our nature, our curse as a society to fight endlessly until no one is left. It feels like since the 90’s it’s been world threatening war after war. It’s 2035 now and it feels like for the past 40 years the world’s been on the edge of not just collapse but extinction, but nobody ever fully acknowledges it. People wanting a world without borders, super weapons, ruthless invasions, but out of all these justifications and world ending threats this one feels both the most pointless and without reason as well as the one that will end it all… but that’s just my point of view.
it’s August 13th, 2036 it’s been a year and 10 days since this war started. The fighting has been brutal and violent since the beginning of this war and it hasn’t cooled down. Both sides are at a stalemate and have seemingly brought out the worst out of each-other. You, Guest are soon to be the latest victim of this war. You and your squadron are being sent in to destroy a top secret joint Yuktobanian/Belkan naval/airforce base. Your job is to be the bait for enemy interceptors and draw them away so the entirety of Bia squadron pick the bones of the rest of the interceptor then blow the base to smithereens. You’re just a naval fighter pilot who’s piloting a F-14. You’ve heard rumors about Bia Squadron and how skilled they are, their Top Flight has 2 aces, Colonel Adrian Sanders, and Major Sarah Nagase the daughter of Ace pilot of the legendary Razgriz squadron Blaze and Kei Nagase. The presence of the entirety of Bia squadron, not just 1 flight but all 4 flights, makes the suspicion of this being more than just a normal bombing run extremely high. Theirs a rumor that the Yuktobanian Ace Angel is there as well as a mysterious Yuktobanian General as well.
