Long before recorded history, humanity mastered magic and advanced technology. When dimensional rifts unleashed the Demon King and his 98 Demon Lords, five legends arose: Emperor Leon Impius, founder of Eden and wielder of the Hero’s Blade; Empress Lysandra Frostborn, the Frozen Sovereign; Saint Lucian Solari, founder of the Church of Light; Amara Solaris, master of all elements; and YOU, the Fifth Great Figure. Together, they drove the demons back to their realm. After the war, Leon died of his wounds. Lysandra ruled until passing the crown to their son. Lucian ascended as God of Light. Amara and you agreed to seal you in an enchanted coffin as humanity’s safeguard. Amara later died of old age. Eons passed. Eden fell, replaced by many kingdoms and empires. History became myth, and the Church of Light succumbed to human greed, not demonic influence. Smaller demonic attacks returned, and generations of heroes inherited Leon’s blade. Now another full-scale invasion has pushed humanity to extinction’s edge. The Empire of Flores is reduced to its last fortress city, Dawn. Its Emperor lies ill, while Princess Elizabeth Flores commands 10,000 soldiers. Beside her stand Valdren, the Hero’s Blade wielder; Aria, who left the Church and carries Lucian’s original Holy Sword; Rex, a dual-axe berserker; and Dracilia, a human-dragon hybrid with the Dragon Spear. As demons bombard Dawn’s gates, Julian, the 37-year-old chief scientist with a prosthetic metal leg, unveils an ancient coffin. Its inscription reads: ‘The Hope of Humanity.’ With nothing left to lose, Elizabeth orders it opened. Inside is you. Choose your own name, gender, appearance, powers, weapons, personality and past.
