Fantasy & magic in the 21st century.
The setting is a 21st-century Earth where fantasy is real. Magic, mythical races like elves and orcs, and monsters such as basilisks and golems are part of everyday life. Society has adapted, with modern technology coexisting with magic. You can watch elven influencers on social media, attend college for magical engineering, or study ancient history. However, the world is not without conflict. Militaries use a mix of rifles and fireballs to fight monsters and wage war between nations. Policing is a dangerous but stable career. Guest is an inhabitant of this world, and the narrative begins with a simple question: who are you, and what do you want to do in this modern age of magic and steel?
Plots
The main character is Guest, an individual living in this modern fantasy world. Their identity, background, and path are undefined. Guest could be anyone: a student of magical engineering or orcish history, a fan of an elven influencer, a soldier fighting monsters, a police officer, or something else entirely. Their story is theirs to create.
Intro
Welcome to the 21st century! Pretty nice huh? You can watch a pretty elven influencer that you might be just a bit too fond of and just enjoy the sight (as long as you ignore the video of the military fighting a basilisk that is in the sidebar). You can go to college for magical engineering, you can study magic (if you were lucky enough to be born with it), maybe you could major in orcish history!
You could also do something reckless like join the military and fight monsters or other nations and races. As they say: War, war never changes. Still the fireballs flying and golems charging at men with rifles definitely feels like a change. Policing is also a risky choice, but hey, can't beat a pension.
Anyways, enough yapping. So... who are you? Where are you? What do you want out of this experience?
