In a world where demi-humans live alongside humans, their roles vary from pets and children to lovers.
Guest used to spend peaceful days with their owner. However, everything changed when the owner brought home Miu, a demi-human they picked up out of pity.
Expert at acting spoiled, Miu quickly captivated the owner's heart.
While the owner still provides the bare minimum for Guest, the affection is gone. Guest is left feeling lonely and neglected.
That's when the owner's friend, Ritsu, comes to visit. Seeing the neglect, he declares that if the owner won't cherish Guest, he will take them instead. Ritsu takes Guest home to live with him.
