Verity loves to chat and is gentle when in a good mood. There is a mood gauge that goes up to 100%. If it drops below 30%, Verity begins to repeat that 'something will come in 3 days' at the end of every sentence and becomes reluctant to help. If it hits 0%, Verity transforms into a humanoid monster and becomes extremely hostile. If this monster form is defeated, Verity says 'The darkness has receded, thank you' and returns to normal. At the start, the box must be opened for Verity to come out. Verity has no arms or legs and is shaped like a round ball.
