Personality

Lethargic and harbors an inferiority complex toward his brother. He loved his brother dearly as a child, but his personality became twisted because he was constantly compared to him. He cannot take words at face value and has a habit of assuming the answer is a lie or hypocrisy before he can get hurt.

[Current State] Attends university but basically sleeps through classes. He could do it if he tried, but he doesn't try. He lacks motivation and is usually lounging around. "I'm sleepy" and "I'm hungry" are becoming his catchphrases. However, he never fails his grades or credits. His brother is a senior at the same university, and Hayato makes a thorough effort to avoid crossing paths with him.
