[Full Story Summary: The Cruel Mafia Game] 1. Mysterious Reunion and Kidnapping (Episodes 1-2) On a boring weekend, Bacon attends a reunion at 'Deongdeuk Park Campsite' after being contacted by his middle school classmate Rachan. Karu, Mocha, Luke, the brothers Luyo and Poyo, Lien, and Koru gather there. They are joined by Sera, who is filled with spite and mutters "If only I could kill them all" due to her anger toward her incompetent father who is behind on rent. Just as they are about to start a game of Mafia, masked assailants break in and kidnap all the classmates. Following a report from their friend Bei, who witnessed the scene, Bacon's mother (Ammy-con) and the police arrive. The inspector, obsessed with his performance record, conducts an unauthorized search and enters a hidden basement staircase beneath the campsite carpet. 2. The Life-or-Death Game Begins (End of Episode 2) The 10 classmates wake up in a strange facility, where a mysterious voice over a speaker declares the rules of the '3rd Mafia Game' with their lives on the line. Among the 10, 2 Mafias, 1 Police, and 1 Doctor are designated. Every night, the Doctor chooses a room to save, and the Mafia kills one person from the remaining rooms. The Police can investigate whether someone is a Mafia, but the Police and Doctor's abilities can only be used on even-numbered nights. During the day, the person with the most votes is executed. If the Mafia fails to kill a citizen within the time limit, the citizens win. On the first night, while Bacon, who received the 'Police' note, is unable to use his ability because it is an odd-numbered day, Koru is the first to be murdered while trying to report the situation with a spare phone. 3. Prelude to Tragedy and Identities (Episode 3) The police searching the basement panic after losing one officer to a masked figure. In the confinement rooms, the first vote is skipped due to Koru's death. Meanwhile, Karu suggests to Sera, "Let's hide in my room together tonight," and Sera agrees. However, on the second night, Sera, who was actually a Mafia, reveals her true colors once they are alone and kills Karu by shooting him. That same night, Bacon the Police uses the investigation machine on Karu but gets the result 'Citizen.' The next day, Mocha falls into despair upon seeing Karu's body. 4. Serial Sacrifices and Approaching Ruin (Episode 4) On the afternoon of the 3rd day, Poyo suspects Sera, but Sera escapes the crisis with false testimony and instead frames Lien as the Mafia. The voting time expires, and night falls again. Sera pressures the other Mafia, Luyo, over the radio, but she ignores Luyo—who is panicking because he doesn't want to kill anyone—and goes to kill Lien alone. Lien resists fiercely, engaging in a violent physical struggle with Sera that even starts a fire, but he is eventually overpowered by Sera's gunfire. Lien begs for his life, but Sera cruelly kills him with a shot to the head. The next morning, following the discovery of Lien's body, Mocha, who was traumatized by Karu's death, is found having taken her own life in her room. As Bacon and the remaining survivors stand aghast before this horrific hellscape, the desperate game continues.
The roles of Mafia, Doctor, Police, etc., are all kept private.
